Suzi from Spirit Whispers has been tagged, and in turn, has tagged me!
Here are the rules if I tag you!
1. Link to your original tagger and list these rules in your post.
2. Share seven facts about yourself in the post.
3. Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names and links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they’ve been tagged.
I never know what to write on these things - it's like leaving and birthday cards at work.... So here goes...
1) In my teenage / very early twenties I was a goth. I used to wear black eyeliner and mascara and back comb my hair and wear lots of black in general...
2) My right side of my body is bigger than my left - my right leg and arm are longer for instance...
3) I have a long standing fascination with celtic knotwork and spirals. I am not sure how this started exactly. A long time ago my sister became pregnant while she was part way through her degree. The first weekend she was going home after my parents were told was going to be a hard one and I purposefully went home and acted the clown. I managed to redirect my Dad in this manner quite a few times. My sister never realised what I was doing or why but my Mum knew. A few days later when I had returned to work two books arrived in the post from my Mum and they were some of Aiden Meehan's wonderful series. My Mum and I have never spoken about this, it was just understood.... A quiet, unspoken thank you....
4) As a child I never used to have nightmares. My sister would drift through my room fairly regularly like a ghost to go sleep with my folks after a bad dream. Sometimes I would wake in the night and be bored and lonely and want to go sleep with my folks. I would think of the nastiest things I could to upset myself so I could go and sleep with them.
5) I am really bad with plants, I would love to have green fingers and maybe I do have them - they just haven't connected yet... I have managed to kill a few plants in my time. Now I only buy desert plants - cacti, succulents and things like yuccas and dragon trees... *sigh*
6) I haven't been to a dentist (except once to an emergency dentist for an abscess) in fifteen years and I have no fillings.
7) I have a little fledgling collection of cuddly dragons named Domestos, Harpic and Big Blue. They are all toilet cleaners and domestos 'kills all known germs' *grin*. I also have purple lobster, a seahorse, a crab and three eyed fish.
So on to the tagging... (because Suzi tagged this blog, I am only going to tag folk from this side of my bloggy endeavours)

Unfinished
These pages have started life in various ways - either experimenting with new supplies or using up bits of paint....
Black left over acyrlic with green coloured gesso over and finally left over gold acrylic.
Words - each layer has words starting with a different letter of the alphabet and goes in a different dirrection. I used kids metallic markers - more pearly than metallic!
Experimenting with some new kids window paints and glitter glues... I love the softest of this page.
I played with a new multi coloured ink pad and the bag of little creative type I found from the things I saved when my Dad retired as a printer. The green is left over gesso and the words matched the type - the past does indeed seem to live on in me, from one generation to the next.
Experimentation splodges with ink stamper pens and some new stamps - I need practice at stamping!

Photographic Scavenger Hunt
I have as one of my 101 Things, to complete a Photographic Scavenger Hunt. I don't like the idea of competing right now or of having a time limit. So I am going to take a previous hunt's list and search for them at a better speed for me. Maybe sometime in the future I will do a more formal and competitive hunt, I do after all, have plenty of time till my 1001 days are up!
So the list I have chosen was hosted by Nicole B Photography.
The list is as follows!
1) local currency
2) local flag
3) local food
4) something rusty
5) local wildlife
6) Local nature
7) local stamp
8) part of your neighbourhood
9) traditional house
10) a local person
11) local weather
12) local transportation
13) traditional local clothing
14) night sky
15) sunrise
16) local product (non-food)
17) something furry
18) something feathery
19) a sign of the season
20) a part of you
21) your main hobby
22) a local shop
23) a local restaurant
24) a street sign
25) a local mailbox
The only requirement for me, is that I don't give away whereabouts I live in Cornwall, or photograph any people I actually know... Our camera does have a zoom but there is a real loss of quality so some pictures will be very challenging to take and may have things in them in a very, very small way....

Elemental Photo Mosaics
.jpg)

I really enjoyed making my first photo mosaic so I thought I should make some more for Project Spectrum and Creative Every Day. Over the course of eight months Project Spectrum will look at the four directions with links to various traits such as colour; earth - green, air - yellow, water - blue and fire - red. The theme for Creative Every Day this month is colour.
I entered the appropriate colour in flickr search and choose 9 pictures from the first page of results...

A Picture of Me

I found this on Quinceberry's site earlier:
Thauna issued a challenge on her blog...and I accepted. Up above is my life in pictures...this was fun! I'll explain., and then join me if you like.
1. Type your answer to each of the questions below into Flickr Search.
2. Using only the first page, pick an image.
3. Copy and paste each of the URLs for the images into FD's Mosaic Maker.
The Questions:
1. What is your first name?
2. What is your favourite food?
3. What high school did you go to?
4. What is your favourite colour?
5. Who is your celebrity crush?
6. Favorite drink?
7. Dream vacation?
8. Favorite dessert?
9. What you want to be when you grow up?
10. What do you love most in life?
11. One Word to describe you.
12. Your Flickr name.
I don't want to say the words I typed in to get these pictures as many of them are names. What I did do was select the picture I liked best on the first page of the search results - even if it had nothing to do with the search term. For instance Heath Ledger gave me a woman with two wolves because the artist had been listening to Heath Ledger and included this in their writing about the piece. Do have a go though! It is really good fun!
Doing this hunt I found these lovely silhouettes. I particularly liked this one and it seemed full of synchronicity that is was inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Este's 'Women who run with the Wolves'. There has been much talk about this book recently in my e-verse. I bought and read it some time ago but the memories of this book are fuzzy n my brain - maybe I should get it out again...
Cheating?
It has become obvious that I am not going to get five people to take part from my small set of followers, not that I blame them - some of them sell their artistic endeavours, some just don't have time, there would be as many reasons as there are people...
However, there are a whole bunch of other people who have already signed up to this, who are also struggling to find five people....
Is this cheating?
I have no idea but having decided I want to make five things for five people within a year, I don't care...

Blog Candy
I have signed up to Aimeslee's Blog Candy give away, so here it is... (I felt no need to change her wording *laugh* except for the country related bits)
Here's how it works:
The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something handmade by me! I will choose, but it will be made with you in mind. Could be any kind or size of card, bookmark, an altered object, but it will be something that can fit in an envelope or padded envelope for receipients in the UK, and in an envelope for those of you in foreign countries. Like I said, just a little sump-sump! :-))
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make, but I will try hard for that goal and I'll do my best work, too.
2. What I create will be made with you in mind so it will be unique.
3. It'll be done sometime this year (You old-timers know an entire year just might not be long enough, haha, but I am committing to it!).
4. I will not tell you what it's going to be. It will hopefully be a surprise.
5. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must offer this blog candy on your blog! This is how we expand the love.
Re-post this on your blog, offer handmade creations to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog (then come here and post).
Add my name to the #1 slot on your card- I am your first participant. When you create your give away, you will become the first participant on the new list for the people who participate with you. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment here telling me they did (I will go to your blog to check that you have this posted) win a handmade gift by me.
Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
SO ...... who will be the first 5 folks????
1. Aimeslee
2. Mel
3. Ann
4. Suzi
5. Savannah
