Goodbye Kitty

My latest postcross card called for a slight diversion from my normal diet of landscape cards. The only thing they listed as liking was Hello Kitty... I looked online and saw no cards so the chances of finding any in my small town are kind of low. I did look in the biggest local supermarket which has a whole aisle of cards, but no trace of hello kitty...

Never one to turn down a challenge I thought I would make one!

The pink gingham is tissue paper. The flowery paper on the right is fairy paper with said fairy removed. The flowers on the left are a vinyl tape. The for you at the bottom is sticky ribbon. The heart is a peel off. Kitty herself is some clipart I printed off.

I then laminated it so it hopefully won't fall apart in the post.... I stuck a label on the back for the stamps.

I can't imagine she will get to many hello kitty cards so I hope she likes it!

  3. Thank you for stopping by and leaving such a wonderful response to my blogpost. We loved Cornwall and found it hard to leave (much like Wales as well) full of mystery and smugglers caves and stone circles and of course fourgous as well. If you want to meet up with John or Caitlin take a look at their website and it lists where they will be teaching.(Hallowquest) I have it linked in my blog.
Blessings and may your Journey lead you on to new Adventures and Treasure.

  6. The gingham tissue was from Tesco (big supermarket chain we have in the UK). They have a nice range of tissue papers in their gift wrap section. I must admit to having bought all the colours and patterns I have seen them sell so far....

I am glad you all like the Hello Kitty! I am also glad that you all seem to think that My Hello Kitty Postcross exchange will like it!
