I have recently started using Postcross. A lovely idea for exchanging postcards with the world. I sent my first five, of which only two have so far arrived and this entitled me to send two more. So far I have just sent normal landscape and nature cards of Cornwall but my seventh address called for something a little different...
This person is an artist who likes altered art... They want things half destroyed, changed, whatever and of course, I had to rise to the challenge....
The plain white card was splotched with cats eye inks. I then used stickers to do the writing. Crumpled the card then cut it up and finally stuck it back together with tape... I hope they like it!
I love PostCrossing! I have had 5 profiles on the site, but now just two. Once upon a time members were allowed to send only 3, then 5 postcards at one time, no matter how many cards they had already sent. That was too few for me so I created multiple accounts. Now that the number of postcards we can send increases with every 50 we sent, I only need the two :-)

ReplyDeleteAnyway..I've only got one to send, which is good because it seems we are a town bereft of postcards...who knew? The post office only had three to choose from...*sigh*....
Three? ooooh... I suspect where I grew up would be like that to but living in a tourist area now, I am spoilt for choice. Maybe you would have better luck online?
